Ribbon Tape is corrugated Tape manufactured from Flexible Pure Graphite Foil. Tape is designed for use as
 gland packing for valves as well as pumps. Gland packing can be made at site itself by wrapping corrugated
 Tape around the spindles/ steam and pressing it by gland follower. An endless seal ring is formed directly
 around the shaft. The parent equipment need not be dismantled to provide a positive seal. However,
 although a free handy solution at plant site, it can be used in emergency when preformed gland packing's
 are not available.
 Tape is also available without corrugation which can be used as thread sealant tape for high temperature
 threaded pipes, nuts and bolts.
