TEADIT®24
BB
TEADIT® 24 BB is the wider
version of our universally applicable, 100% pure, Expanded PTFE gasket tape. Although the fibers have a multi-directional orientation, Tensile strength is considerably higher along the longitudinal axis. TEADIT® 24 BB is Suitable to cut
or punch gasket from and has full width adhesive tape on one side, Approved for use with foodstuffs (also available without adhesive tape). |

TEADIT®24
HD
TEADIT® 24 HD is a pre-dandified 100% pure PTFE
gasket tape. Because of its higher Original density compared to
conventional PTFE joint sealant TEADIT® 24 HD is
particularly well suited to seal irregular e.g. out-of-operable and/or damaged Range faces, and for
applications where a certain remaining gasket thickness is required. |

TEADIT®24
BF
TEADIT®24
BF is a PTFE joint sealant tape made from pure PTFE with a dimension-stabilizing filler material.
It has been developed for demanding sealing applications. |
|
TEADIT®24 SH
TEADIT®24
SH is a gasket sheat produced from pure, multidirectionally expanded
PTFE, A special production process ensures equal tensile strength in
all directions. This makes gaskets cut from TEADIT® 24 SH
one of the best, most versatile and most reliable gasket materials
on the market. Cold flow and creep has been eliminated, gasket
parameters have been drastically improved, while all the excellent
physical properties of PTFE have been fully retained. |

Double-Jacketed
gaskets
TEADIT® double-josketed
gaskets are particularly suited for applications like heat-exchangers and
boilers. The gasket is constructed of a soft, heat
resistant, non asbestos filler material, which is
completely enclosed in a two-piece metal jacket. When
pass partition bars are required, we offer a welded pass
bar construction. With a welded pass bar arrangement the
fluid is retained by the primary seal at the inner
diameter of the gasket.
Thus the primary seal maintains its function,
providing a seal of higher integrity. Many standard bar
configurations are available, special configurations on
request.
* the metal jacket covering the filler material
prevents
contamination . ensures high elasticity and recovery
* nearly any dimension and shape can be mode the
welded construction of the bars results in two
independent seals: the primary seal at the inner
diameter And the secondary seal at the outer diameter.
Standard materials:
Metal jacket: Carbon steel, soft iron, 304, 3161
Filler material: graphite |

Sprial-wound
gaskets
For applications with high temperature
variations (thermal cycling). and/or pressure variations, and/or
flange rotation problems etc., gaskets with adequate residual stress retention),
flexibility and recovery are needed.
TEADIT® spiral-wound gaskets have been designed to meet these demanding
requirements.
Sprial-wound gaskets are made of a preformed metallic strip and a soft
filler material (PTEF or graphite),
wound together under pressure, and potionally with an inner and/or outer
guide ring. The metal strip holds the liller, resulting in excellent mechanical resistance, resilience and
recovery. |
The metallic outer
ring:
serves to center the gasket and as protection
against overloading
The metallic inner ring: |
* Protects the windings on the
inside from high temperature, avoids creation of turbulences within the pipe work, Protects the spiral from corrosion
* avoids deformation of the gasket in radial direction (buckling) filler materials max. temperature °c
FF) PTFE 260, (500°F) graphite 450 . (842°F) |
|
* up to 650°C (1 ,200°F) with steam and
under inert conditions |
